Bound Forms

Bound Forms is a performance and installation project that draws on the dynamics of kink, including restraint, power, consent, and play, as a framework for examining institutionalised power. Using industrial materials such as aluminium, chain, and cement alongside leather and latex, the work explores tensions between control and vulnerability, rigidity and softness.

Rather than representing kink literally, the project evokes it through atmosphere, weight, suspension, precarious balance, and sensory intensity. These constructed environments function as liminal spaces where power is negotiated, bodies are heightened, and normative structures temporarily dissolve.

Bound Forms approaches kink not as spectacle, but as a methodology for reimagining power, agency, and autonomy beyond dominant systems.
